It cannot make a sign that fails the standard.

A design tool lets you draw a sign and trust that it passes. WayX solves the typography, spacing and colour against the standards that govern it, checks the rendered file, and will not hand you one that breaks them.

Solves the sign

Typography, spacing and colour are computed to meet the binding standards, ADA, WCAG 2.1, ISO 3864, ICAO Annex 9 and DIN 1450, not nudged by eye until they look right.

Validates the real output

Every sign is checked against the actual rendered file, and told exactly where it fails. Nothing passes on assumption.

Sends it to the printer

The finished sign goes straight to the print shop that will make it, as a vector PDF at exact size.

WayX grew out of the wayfinding system of Sofia Airport, ranked the best in Europe. It was built around the standards themselves, not around one designer's taste.
