It will not release a sign that fails a clause it checks.
A design tool lets you draw a sign and leaves the clauses to you. WayX computes the typography, spacing and color against the clauses it checks, checks the rendered file and withholds the print file while one of them fails.
Solves the sign
Typography and spacing are computed against ADA 703.5.5 and 703.5.6 where the ADA binds and contrast against a WayX baseline, not nudged by eye until they look right.
Validates the real output
The checks run against the rendered file, not against the numbers that were meant to produce it, and each failing row says which clause it failed and by how much.
Sends it to the printer
The finished sign goes straight to the print shop that will make it, as a vector PDF at exact size.
WayX grew out of the wayfinding system of Sofia Airport, named best airport in Europe in the 5 to 15 million passenger category for passenger experience in the 2024 ACI and Amadeus Airport Service Quality awards. It was built around the clauses themselves, not around one designer's taste.
