What WayX keeps, and where.

WayX is run by Gancho Churkov, a private individual in Sofia, Bulgaria, who decides what is stored about you and why. For anything on this page, write to gancho@wayx.app. If WayX becomes a company, this section will name it.

• Your account: your email address and the times you signed in.
• Your kits: kit and color names, the fonts and logos you upload, and the printers you add. A printer entry holds details you type about someone else: a shop name, a contact person, an email address, notes and a default material.
• Your sign history: each time you send a sign, a fixed record of it. That is the destination texts, the distances you declared, the kit name, the font family and the sign's artwork, with the printer address it went to and the time.
• Your print files: every print PDF you send is stored as its own file.
• Your sending records: a log of each email WayX sent for you, with the recipient address, the time, the kind of email, and the kit and printer it came from. Also the printer confirmations you asked for, with the address and when it was asked and confirmed, and any order waiting for a printer to confirm. A confirmation link is stored only as a one-way fingerprint, never as the link itself.
• On this website: the tester feedback form stores what you type into it, which can include your name and email address. An earlier waitlist form collected email addresses, and that list is still stored.

Before you sign in, a kit you make in the editor stays in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is copied to your account only if you say yes when the editor asks.

WayX keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage. Neither site sets cookies or uses advertising or tracking tools.

This website, wayx.app, uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless and stores nothing in your browser. It reports aggregated figures, such as how many people viewed a page and where they came from, and no personal data. It also counts four actions: clicking a "Try WayX" button (and which one), pressing Play on the film, turning its sound on, and clicking the link to ask for an invitation by email. Each count carries only the name of the action and, for the first and last, which button or link it was, taken from a fixed list; nothing you type and no address is sent. It does not follow you across other sites. It never counts a download link or any address that carries a token or a code, and it keeps no part of a web address except the page and any campaign tag (utm). The editor at engine.wayx.app uses no analytics.

• Everything listed above is stored by Supabase in its Frankfurt, Germany region (AWS eu-central-1): the database, sign-in and stored files, for the editor and for this website alike.
• Both websites, wayx.app and engine.wayx.app, are hosted by Vercel. Pages are delivered from the Vercel location nearest to you. The download link in a print-order email passes through one Vercel function in Washington, D.C., United States, which checks the link and sends the browser on to the file in Frankfurt. The file itself does not pass through it.
• Emails WayX sends, your sign-in links and print orders alike, are sent by Resend, a company in the United States.

WayX uses four other companies to run.

• Supabase: the database, sign-in and file storage, in Frankfurt.
• Vercel: hosting for both websites, and the visit counts on wayx.app described above. As the host, it receives your IP address and the pages you request.
• Resend: sends your sign-in link, the print-order email and the request asking a printer to confirm. It handles your email address, and for an order the printer's address, your note and the order's details.
• Google Fonts: the editor at engine.wayx.app loads its typefaces from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address when you open the editor. This website does not load anything from Google.

When you send a sign, the printer receives your email address and your note, and you are copied on the email so the printer can reply to you. That is part of how an order works.

WayX does not sell or rent anyone's data.

WayX has no automatic deletion today. What that means in practice:

• Your account, kits, printers, sign history and sending records stay until you delete them or ask WayX to.
• Deleting a kit removes the kit, but not the fonts, logos and print files stored with it. Those stay until WayX deletes them by hand when you ask.
• You cannot delete a print file yourself. The download link in the email stops working after 14 days, but the file stays stored.
• Deleting a sign record removes the record and its sending events.
• Feedback and waitlist entries stay until you ask for them to be removed.

There is no button yet to delete your account or download your data. Write to gancho@wayx.app from the address on your account, and WayX will delete your account, kits, sign history, sending records and stored files by hand, or send you a copy of them. You will get an email when it is done.

If your details are in someone else's kit, for example as their printer, you can write to the same address and ask for them to be removed.
